As a graduate, I ran post sales hardware support call centre for international IT company for a number of years. At the age of 25 I decided a change of career was what I wanted and became a teacher. I have taught in mainstream, run pupil referral units for excluded children, run an education centre, been part of the leadership team of the first special school in the country to be awarded TES school of the year and became Head Teacher of a special school in Gloucestershire for boys with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties, turning the school around from failing to thriving.
